In the spring of 2008 we got our long waited and desired Bernese Mountain Dog from Warsaw in Poland. We desired a Bernese Mountain Dog for many years, but time was never right in relation to children, education and housing situation. Now it was finaly time.
We had established contact with a highly acknowledged and ambitious Polish kennel, Astrum Felix, who just had a litter of puppies after their bitch PL CH ASTRAJA pod Dwiema Tęczami and C.I.B. EQUO van’t Beertjes Hof. There were eight puppies – six females and two males – and one of the males was for us. His name was CHORT Astrum Felix. At home we called him Chopin, named after the Polish composer – Frederik Chopen.
We started at puppy training at Bernerpladsen, when Chopin was about nine weeks old and we lost completely our heart to this fantastic breed and everything that follows – like training and dog shows. Anna has been a member of the Board at The Danish Bernese Mountain Dog Club Jylland Department and is now a member of the Board at The Danish Bernese Mountain Dog Club.
In the summer of 2009 we got a Bernese Mountain Dog girl from an another world recognized Polish kennel – Kraina Zeusa. Jambalayla Wow z Krainy Zuusa was her name, because she was WOW, and Yes! she was. She became the fundation of our kennel.
We love large Bernese Mountain Dog, strong, powerful built with harmonious bodies, beautiful heads and with a fantastic temperament. We want to contribute to a healthy breeding of Bernese Mountain Dog.
